Become a Prayer Companion
The PROCLAIM Prayer Companion serves as a prayer partner for a program participant by committing to regularly praying for her intentions and her formation journey. This includes intercessory prayer, praying for guidance, strength, and discernment.
Become a Formation Companion
At the heart of PROCLAIM is the understanding that authentic ministry formation happens through meaningful relationships. Formation Companions will serve as:
- A dialogue partner and spiritual friend
- A formation guide with pastoral wisdom
- A ministry mentor who can share from experience
- A supportive companion on the journey of growth
Formation Companions commit to meeting with their assigned participant at least quarterly (four times per year) over the 22-month program, with the flexibility to meet more frequently if desired. These meetings provide space for participants to reflect on their learning, discuss their ministry challenges, and receive guidance from someone who understands the joys, challenges and potential of women’s ministry leadership in the Church.
Become a Sustaining Companion
The PROCLAIM Sustaining Companion commits to supporting the long term growth of PROCLAIM and the legacy of preaching women by pledging financial support, making a planned gift or helping establish an endowment to ensure the future of this critical formation for women in the Catholic Church.
